Understanding Labels: PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil & Greenwashing

PEG 40 hydrogenated castor oil may sound natural, but it isn’t. It has been processed with petroleum derived ethylene oxide and can be contaminated with the carcinogen 1,4 dioxane.
