Toy Testing with the XRF at BlogHerDC with Green Moms!

Last week I went to BlogHer DC in Washington DC and met up with some other absolutely fabulous green moms.  More on that to come.

But, I wanted to share with you a video of toy testing.  At the end of our very busy, very exciting day, we tested toys using my Niton XRF analyzer in the hotel bar.  The XRF analyzer uses xray fluorescence to test for elements – including total lead – in household products, including toys.  The sassy, wonderful, and very nice Sommer from Green & Clean Mom shot a video of us – me, Green & Clean Mom and MamaBird from Green Phone Booth.  Check out the results of our toy testing (including Sommer’s toxic purse).  And, if you want more detail, MamaBird summarized the XRF testing results.
